3 Amazing Miracles That Demonstrate Why We Can and Should Surrender the World to God

One of the biggest spiritual challenges is to surrender the problems of the world to God. It is something that even I have struggled with, despite reaching a high level of consciousness.

The truth is that the world is perfect as it is. So why is this truth so hard for people (including myself) to accept? Well, we all have strong beliefs about how the world should be. We see injustice, and we want it to stop. We see corruption, and we want it to stop. We see things getting worse and worse, and we desperately want to see them get better.

The first step is to understand that this realm is a purgatory. As a result, it is never going to be perfect in any sense of the word. The next step is to understand that most of the “bad” things we see in the world are simply the result of karma in action. If we could somehow stop these things from occurring, we would likely be robbing people of a great karmic opportunity, without which there would be no reason for them to even be born into this world.

Despite knowing these things, I haven’t always felt them. But 3 major events, which I can only describe as miracles, have occurred in the past few years that have really helped me to truly and finally get this. For I believe the hand of God must have been involved in making these miracles happen.

1. The end of cancel culture

When the age of social media began, few could have foreseen how it would be co-opted by the radical Left to punish and “cancel” anyone who disagreed with its agenda. Cancel culture was in full bloom by 2020 and the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Grant Napear, a long-time play-by-play announcer for the Sacramento Kings NBA team, was one of the more notable victims. When asked about his opinion of the Black Lives Matter movement, he replied by tweeting, "ALL LIVES MATTER... EVERY SINGLE ONE." For this, he was fired from a radio job and forced to resign his announcer position. And all for saying something that was not only true but should have by all rights been non-controversial.

Countless people were ostracized and fired during this period for saying that men can’t have children, that men and women are different, and numerous other statements that have always been considered objectively true but were now being challenged by the radical left. Cancel culture wasn’t just about punishing people. It was an attack on the very concept of truth itself.

At the time, I could not imagine how this would ever change. But change it did. It started with Elon Musk using his many billions to buy Twitter, and he quickly put an end to its censorship policies. And once the Biden administration left office in January 2025, government support for censorship finally ceased, and without such bullying, corporations put an end to the practice of canceling people. I was stunned at how quickly it all stopped, which indicates that all these companies had been coerced into adopting these corrupt policies, and the effort and energy required to keep them in place was ultimately unsustainable.

2. The collapse of the liberal media monopoly

It’s no secret that the media has leaned left for at least five decades. The news media, along with Hollywood, have been largely responsible for the decline of religion and the collapse of moral standards that have plagued our country. They both also heavily promoted homosexuality, which ultimately led to it gaining societal acceptance.

Despite its bias, the news media used to at least pretend to be impartial in their reporting. This began to change during the presidency of George W. Bush. When Donald Trump rose to political power in 2016, any guise of impartiality was completely cast aside. The news media saw themselves as political advocates, not impartial news reporters. In fact, they have stated that the very notion of objective truth should be rejected because it is supposedly unfair to minorities and “marginalized” communities. In other words, it is okay to lie as long as it helps us achieve our political goals.

I was at a complete loss as to how this media monopoly would ever be broken. And I didn’t see how our country could survive in the long run with a corrupt media that refuses to report the truth except when it finds it convenient. I honestly didn’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. The situation looked absolutely hopeless.

And yet, when Trump won the 2024 election, he managed to destroy the liberal media in the process. Their all-out attempt to defeat him by any means necessary backfired dramatically, as no fair-minded person could deny the obvious dishonesty that was right in front of their face. As a result, the media’s influence was heavily diminished as few Americans were willing to believe anything they said about Trump. So the only audience the media had was those on the radical left, people who were never going to vote for Trump under any circumstances. And when the election was over, the media was abandoned by these people, leaving them with nothing. Not only had they failed to defeat Trump, but they were in financial ruin. I guess there is such a thing as karma after all.

Hollywood is also in collapse and may disappear (or at least be replaced) in the next few years. Streaming has played a large role, but mostly this has happened because Hollywood insisted on making bad movies that promoted a radical left ideology that most Americans find offensive and refuse to support. The end result has been billions of dollars in box office losses, but the worst part has been the collapse in theater attendance, which has pushed large theater chains to the financial brink. If these theater chains go bankrupt and disappear (which appears likely), then Hollywood will have no hope of ever rebounding. It will be finished. And it will have gotten exactly what it deserves.

3. The resurgence of Christianity in the West.

Christianity was in a steady decline for decades. This was due to several reasons. First, you had a left-leaning media complex that did everything it could to either de-emphasize religion or portray it in a negative light. Countless Hollywood films portrayed Christians as bigoted, racist, etc. In addition, the liberal news media would be quick to cover any church scandals that arose, but very little that was positive about the church was ever reported.

Hollywood and the media’s mega push of homosexuality was another reason for Christianity’s decline. As they promoted homosexuality, they simultaneously demonized Christians as homophobic. The propaganda they used to normalize homosexuality, mostly by having gay characters regularly appear in movies and television shows, was well-polished and convinced many people that homosexuality wasn’t bad. But those intolerant, Bible-thumping Christians certainly were!

Another factor was the birth of Progressive Christianity. I’ve covered this pretty extensively in other articles, so I won’t rehash it here. I will simply say that the false ideas it pushes have done much to drive people out of the church. As Progressive Christianity has risen, Christianity as a whole has fallen.
Traditional Christianity was seen by many as stale and boring. Secularism, because it was embraced by the popular culture, was seen as hip, cool, and romantic. Secularism was portrayed as pushing for positive change in society and the world, while Christianity was portrayed as primitive and clinging to the corrupt past.

In other words, all the cool kids were on the Left.

For a long time, I was stumped as to how this could ever change. How could the decline of Christianity be reversed? It was one of the reasons why I wrote Christianity 2.0, as I thought such a book could be the key to the religion finally making a comeback.

And yet in 2025, it became clear that Christianity was indeed rising again in the West, and it didn’t need my book to do it. So what happened?
I think one reason is that the Left and its secular religion (climate change, cancel culture) finally became uncool. By demanding that people walk in complete lockstep with its ideological agenda and punishing anyone who deviated in the slightest, they ultimately pushed people away. And once the Left became the establishment, joining it no longer seemed romantic or rebellious. It’s still hard to believe, but if you now want to be a rebel, you need to be a conservative Christian. But perhaps the biggest problem is that secularism doesn’t have much to offer people except unrestrained hedonism, which won’t make you happy in the long run. Secularism cannot meet the needs of the soul. Only religion can.

I also believe a singular event was a major influence in Christianity’s resurgence: Charlie Kirk’s memorial service in September 2025. This event, held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, calibrated around 750. Events in the 600s and higher are transformative in that they can temporarily raise a person’s level of consciousness. (Hawkins, 1995, p. 94) As I was watching the memorial, I knew that something truly special was happening. Sure enough, what reportedly followed was a large increase in church attendance across the country.

It’s stunning to think about. But it shows how important it is to surrender the world’s problems to God instead of believing that humanity can fix them. When you place your faith in humanity, you will always wind up disappointed. It also will help to remember that, as the above examples show, those who lack integrity will inevitably bring themselves down by their own hand.

So if you wish to truly experience peace, surrender the world to God.

And as for Christianity 2.0, maybe it will have a huge impact on Christianity, taking the religion to new heights never before seen. Maybe it won’t. But whether it does so or not is ultimately up to God. It took me a long time, but I think I can finally accept that.

I wrote the book. I did my part. What happens next is in God’s hands.
